In and around the Leather District this week. The Dewey Square Farmers' Market has a new vendor once a week, Red Fire Farm. The kids are often barefoot, looking as if they've just come out of the fields, which they probably have. Clearly these are true farmers, and organic ones to boot. I read about the Farm in the new book from Andrews McMeel: Eating Local: The Cookbook Inspired by America's Farmers
We're happy to have this addition to the market. So far, I've been really happy with the produce I've purchased there and they have a CSA too, so if you're thinking of a CSA membership for next year, consider them.
